The RANA Plant Biotechnology Complex, is situated at Safadasht, Shahriar. The site comprises of 4,500 m2 of laboratory space and over 10,000 m2 of high tech glasshouse facilities. The facilities allow for the production of up to 450,000 date palms or six million other plant varieties annually.
